About VeeCon

What is VeeCon?

VeeCon is a multi-day superconference with discussions and performances from iconic and emerging leaders in web3, Business, and Popular Culture. VeeCon 2023 is the 2nd annual first-of-its-kind NFT-ticketed super-conference for the VeeFriends and the Web3 community to come together and learn, share ideas and build lasting relationships.

WHEN and WHERE is VeeCon 2023?

VeeCon 2023 will be held in Indianapolis, IN, at White River State Park, TCU Amphitheater, and Lucas Oil Stadium from May 18, 2023, to May 20, 2023.

What is the VeeCon 2023 schedule?

VeeCon Ticketing & Event Registration

As a VeeFriends Series 1 holder, how will I receive my VeeCon 2023 Ticket?

VeeCon 2023 Ticket NFTs have been airdropped to wallets of VeeFriends Series 1 holders from our snapshot taken on March 7th at 5:55 PM EST. For each VeeFriends S1 NFT held in your wallet at the time of the snapshot, the wallet holding the VeeFriends S1 NFTs received the equivalent amount of VeeCon 2023 Ticket(s).

If I am not a VeeFriends Series 1 holder, how can I purchase a VeeFriends Ticket?

How many VeeCon 2023 tickets are there?

The total VeeCon 2023 ticket amount matches the number of VeeFriends Series 1 tokens, so it is a total of 10,255 tickets for each VeeCon.

Will you be releasing additional VeeCon 2023 tickets?

The total VeeCon ticket amount matches the number of VeeFriends Series 1 tokens, so it is a total of 10,255 tickets for each VeeCon, there will be no additional tickets released.

Can VeeFriend series 2 holders get access to VeeCon 2023?

Series 2 holders will not be distributed VeeCon tickets. However, any person can purchase VeeCon 2023 tickets at https://opensea.io/collection/veecon-2023-tickets

Can I purchase tickets at the door/entrance?

No, there will not be tickets available at the door.

Should I have my VeeCon 23 ticket in a hot wallet for any surprise announcement or activations with the ticket itself?

It is not necessary to have your ticket stored in a hot wallet in anticipation of any unexpected ticket activations or announcements during VeeCon 23. We strongly recommend that attendees leave their wallets at home as a registered ticket on the VeeCon app is sufficient for gaining entry and enjoying the full VeeCon experience.

Are there any extra advantages associated with scanned tickets for VeeCon 23?

No, there are no additional benefits to be gained from having a scanned ticket for VeeCon 23. The purpose of ticket registration is to accurately estimate the expected number of attendees, so we kindly request that only those who intend to attend VeeCon 2023 register their tickets.

Arriving, Parking & Transportation

Is parking free at VeeCon 2023?

No, parking around Lucas Oil Stadium is not accessible for free. There are 10+ hotels within walking distance (no more than 4 blocks) from both venues. Ride-sharing app prices will be fairly low and parking prices can be significantly higher.

How will I get to and from the venue?

Attendees will need to organize their transportation to and from the venue. VeeCon will take place in White River State Park, TCU Amphitheater, and Lucas Oil Stadium, within walking distance from all the recommended hotels.

Is there RV Parking at the Lucas Oil Stadium?

No, there is no RV Parking at Lucas Oil Stadium.

How much should we expect to pay for taxi rides to and from hotels?

We recommend you get the rates by checking in advance the ride-sharing apps as this will depend on your exact hotel location.

Is there a subway system? Is there a stop near the stadium? If so, what is the fee?

Public Transportation: IndyGo provides bus service with over 30 fixed routes from their downtown transportation hub. The new Red Line is Indy’s first bus rapid transit line with electric buses, platform boarding, and high-frequency service along 13 miles stretching from Broad Ripple in the north to the University of Indianapolis in the south.

Are there any other events to be aware of?

Yes, we would like to give all VeeCon attendees a head up that there will be the Indy 500 Race Qualifying Weekend. Important to plan for accommodations and to plan for traffic and arrive early.

Where to stay?

Although VeeCon special rates have expired, you can still check out the Top 7 hotels within walking distance of the event HERE.

Food options in the area?

Downtown Indy restaurant scene is recognized as one of “America’s Favorite Food Cities” by Food & Wine, as well as USA Today’s “Top Five Best Beer Cities”. With more than 80% of Indy Downtown dining options owned and operated locally, it’s easy to support locals and eat where the locals eat!

Dress Code

What is the dress code for VeeCon?

There is no dress code for VeeCon – we want you to wear what makes you comfortable!

Am I allowed to attend in costume?

VeeCon is an inclusive environment and welcomes costumes. For the avoidance of doubt, the following guidelines must be adhered to: 

  • The absence of clothing or costume is not itself a costume 
  • Nudity is not allowed at VeeCon – all costumed attendees are required to have opaque fabric of some type providing complete coverage of breasts, genitals and buttocks
  • Opaque bodysuits that simulate nudity are not allowed
  • Costumes must not contain words or images that are racist, obscene or derogatory
  • Fake weapons such as knives, guns, whips, etc. are not allowed
  • Costumes or props that incorporate chemical special effects are prohibited
  • Costumes may not interfere with other fans’ sightlines
  • Full-face masks will need to be removed during the check-in process while entering the event

Any guest who comes in a costume Event Management deems unsafe, possible nuisance or disruption, or can interfere with the event or its guests will be asked to leave.

Will we be able to bring bags into the stadium? How big?

We recommend that you do not bring any bags to the stadium. All guests will be subject to a search of their possessions before entering the stadium. Therefore, guests should be prepared to open their bags for inspection and may be asked by a security representative to shift and possibly remove the contents.

 

Suitcases and any bag larger than the standard backpack size of 22” x 14” x 9” are strictly prohibited.

Access

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?

You will be required to present a government-issued photo ID at the door to verify that your identity matches the information provided on the VeeCon app before entering the stadium.  Approved photo IDs:

  • Passport
  • Drivers License
  • State ID
  • School ID

Is there an age restriction?

There is no age restriction for the event; however, anyone who wants to enter must have a ticket and present it at the door to enter the stadium.

What is the minimum age requirement for an unaccompanied minor to attend VeeCon?

Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter VeeCon 2023.

Do toddlers need a ticket?

Every individual who attends VeeCon will need a VeeCon 2023 Ticket NFT in order for entrance.

Are there lockers for VeeCon attendees at the stadium?

No, there will not be lockers for attendees to use at White River State Park, TCU Amphitheater and Lucas Oil Stadium.

 

Can I bring my baby?

There are no age restrictions to attending VeeCon. However, every attendee will need to present a VeeCon Ticket to enter the event.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

All of the events at White River State Park, TCU Amphitheater, and Lucas Oil Stadium occur rain or shine. Any changes to this procedure will be noted on our website & discord prior to the event.

What items are we not allowed to bring inside the stadium?

Code of Conduct

VeeCon has established this Guest Code of Conduct that will allow everyone in attendance at the venue to enjoy all aspects of the event. Any violations of these rules could result in immediate expulsion from the venue. Guests are prohibited from:

  • Using foul or abusive language or gestures
  • Threatening other patrons with words and/or actions
  • Fighting
  • Throwing or kicking any object in venue
  • Interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event
  • Wearing clothing with abusive or vulgar terminology or inappropriate photographs or symbols
  • Wearing obscene or indecent clothing
  • Displaying obscene or indecent signs
  • Standing on seats or chairs
  • Stepping over chairs from one aisle to another
  • Standing, sitting or loitering in aisles, ramps or other areas of conveyance
  • Liquor containers, bottles, cans, or coolers (except for guests with special medical or dietary needs. Empty water bottles allowed for water dispenser use.)
  • Food not dispensed by venue concessionaires
  • Running or jogging in venue
  • Disorderly conduct
  • Public intoxication
  • Possession or use of drugs
  • Public indecency
  • Obstructing justice
  • Criminal trespass
  • Distributing or displaying handbills without prior consent
  • Smoking and the use of all tobacco products is strictly prohibited inside the venue and on the exterior balconies. This includes the use of Vapor or E cigarettes and any type of smokeless tobacco. Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas outside of venue. Indiana State Law requires all smoking to be outside of the venue eight feet away from any entry point

Prohibited Items

For the protection of our community, the following items are not permitted into VeeCon and cannot be stored by Event or Venue personnel.

These items include, but are not limited to:

  • Aerosol Cans (mace, pepper spray, sunscreen, hairspray, etc…)
  • Animals (except certified service animals)
  • Bags, purses, and/or backpacks big than 22x14x9
  • Balls, Missile-like objects, or any object deemed to be a projectile
  • Bottles, cans, glass, jugs
  • Costumes that do not following the Costume Policy
  • Drones or other flying objects or equipment
  • Food or Beverage from outside the venue
  • Horns, bells, whistles, bullhorns, megaphones, klaxons, boom boxes and/or other noisemakers
  • Illegal items, drugs, substances, paraphernalia
  • Poles/sticks of any kind
  • Propaganda material, non-approve marketing material, flyers, etc…
  • Selfie Sticks, tripods, mono-pods or other camera accessories
  • Smoking, e-vapes, cigarettes, cigars, etc…
  • Video cameras or other cameras deemed of professional quality (as outlined in the VeeCon Attendees Press Photo & Video Policies)
  • Weapons (guns, knives, etc..) or fireworks
  • Any item Event Management deems unsafe, possible nuisance or disruption, or can interfere with the event or its patrons.

Patrons are subject to inspection of persons, parcels, bags, containers and/or clothing capable of concealing prohibited items. Guests may refuse inspections, however, management reserves the right to refuse entry.

Can I bring my camera, or are there restrictions on camera type/size?

We are excited for you to share your VeeCon 2023 (the “Event”) experiences with your friends on social media. Still, it’s imperative that our community also respects the rights of the creators that participate in VeeCon. This Attendee Photo & Video Policy covers what is and is not allowed so that we can all achieve our goals when we refer to “content” that includes, without limitation, videos, clips, photographs, audio recordings, text, graphics, logos, icons, images and software made available to the attendee during the Event.

Guests are welcome to use still cameras and phones for personal use at Lucas Oil Stadium. DSLR cameras with lenses under 6 inches are permitted. Please note video cameras and video recording of events with other devices at Lucas Oil Stadium is prohibited. Tripods, monopods, “selfie sticks,” and any cameras with a lens longer than 6″ (detachable or non-detachable) will NOT be permitted into the stadium.

Please note, it is prohibited to live stream or capture talks and performances in their entirety to protect the intellectual property of Veecon and the experience.

Will food and beverages be available on-site?

Yes, food and beverages will be available for purchase, including healthy and gluten-free options.

Will there be a water fountain/water dispenser available?

Yes, we are planning to have water dispensers onsite.

Is VeeCon 2023 handicap friendly?

Yes, both VeeCon and Lucas Oil Stadium comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in all respects.

Will I be able to meet GaryVee?

Daily registration/sign-up will be available for the Gary selfie station. We’ll try to get through as many people as we can!

Where can I park if I drive?

Will there be apparel?

Yes, there will be limited edition and collaboration apparel available at VeeCon for attendees.

Is it a Web3 or Business conference?

Both! VeeCon is a super conference that features speakers and entertainment across all industries from business, popular culture, music, marketing, Web3, and so much more!

Will there be special activations for specific rarity holders (i.e. Rare, Very Rare, Epic, Spec)

No, as Gary Vaynerchuk has mentioned, VeeCon is a place for the entire community to come together in an equal setting.
