EVENT OVERVIEW
A conference-meets-festival founded by Gary Vaynerchuk for the most ambitious, curious and accomplished to celebrate what’s NOW and NEXT in business, marketing, technology, innovation, and pop culture.
VeeCon 2024 will be held from August 9-11, 2024, at L.A. LIVE in the Entertainment District of Los Angeles, CA.
All events are rain or shine. Any changes to this procedure will be noted on our website and communicated before the event.
TICKETS & EVENT REGISTRATION

Great question! You can easily share access with a friend via email, note they will have to register their own ticket to VeeCon. Once a ticket is scanned on Day 1, you can not delegate access for Days 2 or 3 of the conference.
All VeeCon tickets are given freely to holders of the original collectible of VeeFriends the Series 1 NFT. They are available now on secondary markets, such as OpenSea or Mintify, where the price is set according to each seller.
No you don’t! All you need is an email address and a VeeFriends account to receive access to VeeCon. HERE is more information on tickets and registration. If you want to purchase a VeeCon 2024 NFT ticket then you will need a digital wallet and we’re available to walk you through the process. Schedule a call with us here.
Attendees will be able to keep their VeeCon 2024 ticket as a digital collectible to remember the experience after the conference. Keep an eye on VeeCon socials for any dynamic changes that may come to the ticket artwork!
In order to sell your VeeCon 2024 ticket you’ll need to use a marketplace that supports Base and pay a small gas fee (less than $0.05) to initialize the smart contract for trading. Here's more information on how to get set up with Base and bridge ETH over to the Base network.

ATTENDING VEECON
There is no age restriction for the event; however, anyone who would like to attend VeeCon will be required to have a ticket to enter.
Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter VeeCon 2024.
Every individual who attends VeeCon will need a VeeCon 2024 Ticket in order for entrance.
There are no age restrictions to attending VeeCon. However, every attendee must present a VeeCon Ticket to enter the event. Please note that diapers bags must also adhere to our bag policy (each attendee is allowed either a one-gallon bag or a 12” x 6” x 12” clear bag OR one non-clear bag that is 4.5” x 6.5” or smaller). Each member of a family, including children, is allowed to carry an approved clear bag into each venue.
There is no dress code for VeeCon – we want you to wear what makes you comfortable!
VeeCon is an inclusive environment and welcomes costumes. For the avoidance of doubt, the following guidelines must be adhered to:
- The absence of clothing or costume is not itself a costume
- Nudity is not allowed at VeeCon - all costumed attendees are required to have opaque fabric of some type providing complete coverage of breasts, genitals and buttocks
- Opaque bodysuits that simulate nudity are not allowed
- Costumes must not contain words or images that are racist, obscene or derogatory
- Fake weapons such as knives, guns, whips, etc. are not allowed
- Costumes or props that incorporate chemical special effects are prohibited
- Costumes may not interfere with other fans’ sightlines
- Full-face masks will need to be removed during the check-in process while entering the event
Any guest who comes in a costume Event Management deems unsafe, possible nuisance or disruption, or can interfere with the event or its guests will be asked to leave.
No, there is no public wifi at VeeCon.
VENUE POLICIES
VeeCon is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Guests are expected to follow the below guidelines:
- Respectful and Inclusive Behavior: Guests are expected to treat each other with respect, kindness, and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or any form of disrespectful behavior, including but not limited to that based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or age, will not be tolerated.
- Professional Conduct: Guests are encouraged to maintain a professional demeanor throughout the Event. This includes refraining from using offensive, inappropriate, or derogatory language. Guests who engage in disruptive behavior (including foul/abusive language or obscene gestures), fighting, throwing objects, damage to venue property, or attempting to enter the stage or backstage areas will be immediately ejected from the event without refund or reimbursement. Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all event personnel.
- Access to Event: Guests must possess a valid ticket and/or credential at all times and provide it when requested. Guests are permitted to sit or stand during the event, provided that they are only occupying the area in front of one seat. Standing in aisles, and/or on chairs is strictly prohibited.
- Compliance with Laws and Policies: Guests must abide by all applicable laws, regulations, and Event policies. This includes respecting intellectual property rights, not engaging in unauthorized distribution or sharing of copyrighted materials, and adhering to any guidelines or restrictions provided by the event organizers.
- Safety and Security: Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others. Any threats, intimidation, or acts of violence will not be tolerated. Guests must promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to VeeCon staff and/or designated staff. Guests will comply with all requests from venue staff members regarding venue operations and emergency response procedures.
- Alcohol Consumption: During the times that alcohol is available on-site, Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner. Management reserves the right to deny entry into the venue and/or refuse service to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication.
- Non-Smoking Environment: Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) and the use of tobacco products are not permitted in or around any VeeCon venues, as they are non-smoking facilities.
- Respect for Privacy: Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of fellow guests is essential. Guests should obtain consent before taking or sharing photos, videos, or any personal information of others. It is prohibited to share or distribute personal information of other guests without their explicit consent.
- Responsible Use of Technology: Participants are expected to use any technological resources provided during the event responsibly and ethically. This includes refraining from unauthorized access, hacking, or malicious activities that may compromise the event's integrity or the privacy and security of other participants.
- Respect for Event Environment: Guests will not engage in the distribution, solicitation, or sales of unapproved goods, products or services with staff or other attendees on venue property. This includes, but is not limited to hanging, affixing, displaying unapproved signage (ie: posters, stickers, pamphlets, cards, etc.).
- Compliance with Event Guidelines: Guests must follow all Event guidelines and instructions provided by the organizers, staff, or designated moderators. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the Event or other appropriate actions determined by the organizers.
- Consequences of Violations: Violations of this Event Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to warnings, temporary or permanent removal from the event, or legal action if deemed necessary.
- Amendment of the Code of Conduct: The Event organizers reserve the right to amend or update this Event Code of Conduct as needed, and the most recent version will be made available on the event's website or through other appropriate channels.
VeeCon is partnered with staff members that are trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest staff member. If you feel that our staff does not address any issues to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a Supervisor or Manager immediately. Thank you for understanding and adhering to our Guest Code of Conduct.
To provide a safer environment for our Community and significantly expedite guest entry into all our venues, VeeCon has implemented a bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into VeeCon venues. Exceptions to this policy will be made for all medically necessary items after proper inspection.
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 cm. This includes clear backpacks, clear fanny packs and clear cinch bags that fit within the permissible dimensions.
- No buckles, grommets/hardware or décor can be concealing any part of the bag.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small bags, non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” in size, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into each venue.
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: coolers* (unless medically necessary), briefcases, non-clear backpacks, non-clear fanny packs, diaper bags* (unless medically necessary), non-clear cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera or binocular bags or any non-clear bag larger than the permissible size (4.5" x 6.5")
VeeCon is not responsible for any unattended, lost, or stolen items.
One large clear bag (either a one-gallon bag or a 12” x 6” x 12” clear bag), OR one non-clear bag that is 4.5” x 6.5” or smaller.
Guests carrying bags that do not meet the criteria will be turned away. As an alternative for guests that have no other option, VeeCon will provide guests the opportunity to temporarily check non-compliant bags at storage lockers available for rent located at Chick Hearn Court and Georgia Street.
Exceptions to this policy will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. If you have special medical equipment that you need to have with you at all times, there will be exceptions to this policy after proper inspection. Security will be present at all venue entrances to allow screening of these bags and medically necessary items.
Diapers can be carried in a clear bag. Each family member, including children, can carry an approved clear bag into each venue.
For the protection of our Community, the following items are not permitted into VeeCon. These items include, but are not limited to:
- Aerosol Cans (mace, pepper spray, sunscreen, hairspray, etc.)
- Animals (except certified service animals)
- Balls, Missile-like objects, or any object deemed to be a projectile
- Bottles, cans, glass, jugs
- Bulk items
- Coolers* (unless medically necessary), briefcases, non-clear backpacks, non-clear fanny packs, diaper bags* (unless medically necessary), non-clear cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera or binocular bags or any non-clear bag larger than the permissible size (4.5" x 6.5")
- Costumes that do not following the Costume Policy
- Drones or other flying objects or equipment
- Horns, bells, whistles, bullhorns, megaphones, klaxons, boom boxes and/or other noisemakers
- Illegal items, drugs, substances, paraphernalia
- Large-format banners, flags, signs, and/or posters of any kind
- Non-approved marketing material, flyers, pamphlets, brochures, etc…
- Outside food & beverage
- Painting related items
- Poles/sticks of any kind
- Propaganda material
- Smoking, e-vapes, cigarettes, cigars, etc.
- Stickers or decals
- Video cameras or other cameras deemed of professional quality, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods or other camera accessories (as outlined in the VeeCon Attendee Photo & Video Policies)
- Weapons (guns, knives, etc.) or fireworks
- Any item Event Management deems is unsafe, a possible nuisance or disruption, or that can interfere with the event or its patrons

Guests are welcome to use still cameras and phones for personal use at VeeCon. DSLR cameras with lenses under 6 inches are permitted.
Please note video cameras and video recording of events with other devices at L.A. Live Entertainment District and VeeCon event-operated venues are prohibited. Tripods, monopods, “selfie sticks,” and any cameras with a lens longer than 6″ (detachable or non-detachable) will NOT be permitted into any venue.
Please note, it is prohibited to live stream or capture talks and performances in their entirety to protect the intellectual property of VeeCon and the experience.
